sense & sensibility.
I think the Masterpiece Theater version of Sense and Sensibility might just be my favorite out of all the Sense & Sensibilities out there. Happy for me {and you, really} the 1st installment is on PBS tonight, with the 2nd half airing next Sunday. Tune in, even if you’re not an Austen fan, you don’t want to miss it. Check your local listings here. {via PBS/Masterpiece Theater}.
Cute Superhero Capes.

Just yesterday my little guy expressed that he needs “superpowers”. As if the powers of destruction, mayhem, and charm weren’t enough for a 2 year-old. So glad I stumbled across yet another delightful Etsy find: BabyPop offers the coolest super-hero gear around! Capes, masks, fingerless gloves for super little boys and super little girls. The pieces are custom done by Sherry in dazzling super hero colors appropriate for any little one amazed by their own abilities, real or imagined. And…

cheap kid storage solution

From the word go as a parent I’ve wondered how to go about decorating the way I like while integrating all the gear that comes with kids. While I know that IKEA gets a bad rap for being really cheap, it has saved my hide time and again when it comes to decorating. Especially in small spaces, and with children. Not many companies are conscious of children in their design, but IKEA is, and I love them for it. Take…

T9-SE Limited Edition$40 {via Automoblox} Remember when I wrote about Automoblox? How much I love their cars, and I wish they made life size cars, or at the very least that Automoblox would pimp my ride. They are honestly my hands down, top, favorite toy car. The engineering is ridiculous, in a really good way. Someone with a small little destructive 4-year-old boy has put some serious time into these cars because from what I can tell, they can’t be…

I have shared pictures of some of the products I make this week, and one of those was my Scrabble Pendants.Emily left a comment and asked how these were made, so…

get started on twitter.
Are you using Twitter? I think Design Mom said it best when she described Twitter as Facebook on crystal meth. I’ve been on Twitter for a while now, but I just haven’t been using it to its fullest capacity. I recently learned about Girls Night Out on Twitter or to the expert, #gno. It was started by the two ladies behind Mom It Forward and is the hottest place to be on the internets on a Tuesday night. I honestly…

cheap, stylish baby gear.
Have you seen the new line by Fisher Price at your friendly neighborhood Target? Beloved children’s product giant Fisher Price has teamed up with the coolness of Dwell Studio to launch a limited line of infant gear. In general, the line is better looking than most of the others readily available at common outlets. I haven’t seen it in person yet, but I’m liking it for the following reasons Fisher Price is a brand to be trusted The designs are…
