book pick: the creative family.

I’ve had my eye on this book for a while and was delighted when I found it on the shelf {miracle of miracles!} at the library last week. Amanda Blake Soule, crafty mama and blogger {Soule Mama} wrote the book, The Creative Family: How to Encourage Imagination and Nurture Family Connections, to help the rest of us {and our families} figure out how to get in touch with our crafty selves. $10.17 The Creative Family: How to Encourage Imagination and…

felt project

There is something about working with felt that is very tempting to me. Maybe that’s why this post caught my eye.  This looks like a very cute, very clever project. I’m thinking of putting this snot into the pillowcases of the ones that I feel are too old to trick or treat this year. How old is too old though? Help me out here….

Dear Readers, One of my dear friends was involved in a car accident last night and her son was killed. I will not be blogging about anything frivolous today, I feel much, much too sad. We will see you all back here tomorrow.
