There are few things that make me happier than freshly laundered sheets and a tidy, made-up bed.
There’s nothing fancy about it {except maybe the high thread count sheets-I’m a complete devotee, they’re worth every penny} just a few pillows, a duvet, and some IKEA bedding. But it has such a nicely pulled together look doesn’t it?
Looking at it right now makes me want to crawl on top with a good book and a cup of cocoa. Mmmmmm.
I’m nothing if not a realist, so I’m well aware of the fact that it won’t stay this way for long. But it’s still a very nice way to start the day.

so inviting. love the triple-stack pillows. Whatever you do, climb on top, but don’t climb in. you may never get out! except for a refill on the hot cocoa, perhaps.
It’s very cute. We celebrate Clean Sheet Day in our house- every Monday- because we love freshly laundered sheets that much!
I too love nothing more than fresh sheets. They do not last long, but the feel (even on a cool night) of cool, tight, fresh and clean sheets is un-comparable. Sadly, it takes all but five minutes at my home for that feeling to dissapate as my dogs seem to love this as much as I do and ruin the essence of it all.
Gorgeous! I love the crisp red and white.
I love the print on those sheets! It’s gorgeous!
I am so with you on the fresh sheets thing. I’m not very good at making my bed, but after I change the sheets, I keep it made for at least one week and that is always my best week of sleep (every other week).
