Do you remember the great natural bath + household products I was talking about a few weeks ago? The Honest Company, the green product company Jessica Alba co-founded, is giving away a years supply of products!
That’s a lot more fantastic than one Monday can handle, I think.
How are you feeling about natural, green products these days? I know there’s a lot of talk all over the place about what’s truly green, what’s really natural, and whether or not any of it means anything at all. Where do you stand? Are you all over everything green and wonderful or are you not super concerned with any of it? I grew up in a super duper hippie household with all natural vinegar and water type cleaning solutions, green compost and shredded newspaper all over the garden. My dad used to (and still does) hang milk jugs from the fruit trees filled with an organic insect repellant, and I was horrified at the sight of it. None of my friends with 80’s yuppie landscaped yards had milk jugs hanging from their trees, not a ONE. But now I get it. My dad always has been ahead of the trend, and years before we knew to worry he was super concerned about the chemicals in everything (no, we didn’t have boxed cereal either, but I’m not quite over that yet). Thankfully we don’t have to hang ugly milk jugs filled with some terrible organic smelling concoction all over our homes, The Honest Company has a far prettier (and yummier smelling) solution to that organic juju from my childhood. (I love you dad!)

Normally I think unscented is the best scent, but a light natural citrus smell does make things seem cleaner!

I like any of those citrus scents, they just make everything smell so fresh and clean! I think grapefruit would be my favorite, just because it’s less common then the other two!
