Labor Day is this weekend which means it’s officially (practically) Fall, and that means it’s time to start talking about Fall fashion, yippee! There’s nothing I love more than Fall fashion unless it’s Summer fashion, which is to say swimsuits and a cover up and flip flops for days.
But I digress. Let’s talk about a bold bright casual look for Fall.
Bright pops of color are all the rage this Fall, tempered with the muted tones of burgundy, forest green, and navy blue. Nothing is more of a throwback to my prep school horror days like those East Coast uniform colors, so I don’t own much in any of those shades, but they’re all back with a vengeance this Fall.
Too bad I burned my kilt or I could totally wear it to P.T.A. back-to-school night.
What do you think, are you down with all this bold color, casually thrown into the mix?
Forever New collarless shirt, $52 / Blazer / Uniqlo corduroy pants, $47 / Ann Taylor flat shoes / Reed Krakoff leather handbag / Reiss chunky necklace / Nickel free earrings / House of Harlow 1960 round sunglasses / MAC Cosmetics lip stick / Burberry fragrance
Ha Ha Ha, I totally have a kilt you could borrow for that back to school night, you know I do!
you could pair it with some color ;)
Holy cow, you don’t still have yours do you? I only bought a grey pencil skirt last year, I just couldn’t do it before then!
Oh love it! Of course, I just bought a ton of neutral colored tops :)
Kristen those will look great too! (but you could totally rock cobalt blue)
love those sunglasses! and the yellow-blue combo is one of my favorites!
