Movies to watch for Halloween.

It’s Halloween! Which is one of the best times of year, if you ask me. Any excuse to dress up as your favorite _________ (fill in the blank), party with friends + family, and eat candy is a-okay with me.
As an adult the very best kind of Halloween for me is one where I get to stay home, wear a wig or comfortable stretchy-pants costume of some kind, and watch a good Halloween movie. I stay home while everyone else is out trick-or-treating so I can answer the door and hand out candy. While my family is gone I turn on a good movie and pick my way through the good candy from the bowl I’m handing out. I really can’t think of a more introvert-happy Halloween, can you?
So this year, if you’re handing out candy like me, I have a few Halloween-ish suggestions of what to watch on Netflix, with or without the kids. I hate scary movies, so these are all cheesy family-friendly picks.
Happy Halloween!
- Harry and the Hendersons
- Escape to Witch Mountain
- E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial
- Corpse Bride
- Hotel Transylvania 2
- A Monster In Paris
If you’re looking for other Netflix recommendations, you’ve come to the right place! Here are a few ideas to get started.
- Narcos (with a disclaimer)
Enjoy!
