Friends, the first ever Trader Joe’s in my state opened shop a few weeks ago. Never mind that it’s still a good hour’s drive away from me. I’m still ga-ga for it. To say that I went a little crazy on my first visit would be quite accurate. I was even snapping pics with my phone, so giddy was I. It’s a mecca for the food-sensitive patron or all-around snack hound or conscientious consumer. So many gluten-free goodies to tempt, where shall I start?

Tossed with favorite veggies or sauce and dinner is D-O-N-E. No worries.

Always a good idea to keep mixes like this on hand, for cub scout meetings, sleepovers, breakfast…dont’ you eat brownies for breakfast?

Last box anywhere in the store. Mine. All mine.

It’s Trader Joe’s wonderful! My picky 1yr old will go grab the bag of freeze dried mangoes out of my purse and demand a snack. And I love being able to stock my freezer with quick meal starters where I don’t have to worry about preservatives.
We have a Trader Joe’s coming to town near us soon. I am very excited because I’ve only ever heard great things about it.
I am slowly easing our family into a gluten free life style but not rebuying regular gluten stuff we eat and instead getting more rice and corn products. I see that you’re a community leader on a board about gluten-free life styles and I will be checking that out!
I’m lucky to have a Trader Joe’s not far from my house. It truly is a gluten free dream come true! Glad you enjoyed it!
