I promise I won’t post any more about my excitement over yesterday’s events. Just one last post. My kids were so excited about the whole affair and wanted to celebrate, so we decided to make an Inauguration Cake. It was whipped up with whatever I had in the pantry, & the kids were thrilled with the results. We had cake, went ice skating, and thanked our lucky stars we live in the country we do.
{some icing may have made it into C’s mouth and on his face before it made it onto the cake}

Found you on momdot.com :-)
What a great idea! Is it too late to do something like this with my kids? Has the moment been lost now?
Wow, he looks just like you! With more frosting on his face, though…
So cute! Sounds like you had a great day!
how could you ever say not to those big brown eyes!
KJ: I don’t very often! It’s pretty hard, especially that he’s so charming to go with the baby browns…
