People ask me all the time how to wear belts. I’m telling you, it’s like wearing red lipstick for the first time, once you try it you’ll never go back.
There are a million and one ways to wear a belt, but in this video I’ll show you four. Four belts, four outfits, one video.

Now you’re talking sister! I have yet to take the plunge since I haven’t quite found that perfect red, but I did snag two belts while shopping with my mom this weekend. A think black on for trousers with belt loops and a gorgeous thick brown one for my natural waist.
I feel fashionable for the first time in ages.
Hey, it’s a start. I’m so happy you took the belt plunge! And thrilled you feel fashionable.
Loving everything about your third outfit! I need a linen blazer. :) That tunic has a great shape up top and is a gorgeous color. Thanks for the demos/tips.
You do, that blazer is the best, and I wear it all the time.
So glad you like the video!
I love when you vlog! I agree with it all! Now I’m off to buy more belts! :)
Thanks Kami fo fami! You’re a good belter, I’ve seen it in action.
It’s official. I need belts.
And you, are positively beautiful.
YOU do need the belts, they will change your life.
And you, are VERY kind to me. Thank you.
I’m a HUGE fan of belts as well – it was fun to see some new ideas though! I have a boyfriend blazer from Zara that I want to try with a belt. Thanks for posting this. You’re wonderful!
Those boyfriend blazers are nothing to sniff at, they’re super foxy.
THANK YOU!
I’m just loving this fashion video series. I normally detest video tutes…I never click on them. But yours are great! And I always learn something. :) More, more!
Marisa,
So happy to hear that! No worries, I’m doing one a week, they’re sure to please at least someone.
Seriously, you are foxy! Ha, I was watching your vlog with my daughter and she said..”foxy? Did she just say foxy?”. Well she decided that it was a great word and she is now going to use it regularly {her ores, not mine}
keep it up, I am always trying to do the hip slung belt, I can’t do it! I need you to go shopping with me :)
I’d be MORE than happy to go shopping with you. Seriously.
And I apologize for the foxy that’s about to take over your life. My son says it all the time.
I feel like you need to come to my house and MAKE me. Why do I feel so nervous to try fashion things?! Do you think you could ever do a maternity fashion video. Lots of us bloggers are knocked up right now ;)
You look super hot every time I see you! Seriously, you’re adorable in every way. Very high fashion.
And, thanks for the feedback, I’m happy to add preggo vlogs!
This was my favorite fashion segment you’ve done. Especially since I have a similar figure and have been belt-shy.
Seriously? So glad. It was uber long but I needed to show all the outfits, so I left it.
THANK YOU.
and you looked really good…love the eyeliner.
Thank you so much! It’s all the laying around I’ve done lately, it’s great for the figure.
Wink.
Great video! I have been wanting to try the belt thing but haven’t been brave, I will definately do it now! Thank You!
Jessica, try it! At least one kind of belt.
You’re welcome!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE belts! Another trick I’ve used to keep super long belts in place is a hair tie. You can put it around the belt before you put it on, and it works like a charm!
Nice Deb! Hair elastic, got it.
Thank you.
LOVE! I so need help in this area. And I love the tip for the double sided tape!
I knew you would! ;)
