have a stylish new year!

I realized something when I was hanging out at my parents house on Christmas day: I am my mother’s daughter. After the present frenzy subsided, my mother brought out her hair basket to get gussied up for the day and I counted eight, {yes eight} Aveda products all stacked in a row inside a cute wire basket.

Go mom.

Here’s hoping you have a stylish and wonderful 2010.

Happy New Year!

  2. KJ :

I have used 4 of those products myself in past lives. then i quit my job and had a baby and well, suave isn't quite as good. shedding small tear for the aveda of my past.

    acorns typically don't fall far!

happy new year to you allison :)

I love love love Aveda. Can't get enough. Rosemary Mint is my fav!

I've been a lurker, but I decided to comment this time! Seeing all that Aveda stuff got me thinking about just how bad I need a haircut! My salon uses Aveda and I NEED that tingly shampoo that my stylist always uses! But, like a previous poster, my beauty products money is now diaper money!

  6. Heather :

Aveda is the BEST! I used to work at an Aveda salon and that's what got me hooked! What a great gift!

    Jen,

Oh the smell of Aveda is heaven right?

I love that you can't pluck without thinking of me. Funny. I loathe plucking but it's a necessary evil right?

    KJ,

I've never owned more than one Aveda product at a time, and I usually buy them with a Mother's Day gift card from Viktor, but one can dream right?

    Jill,

Acorns don't do they? I don't know why it took me so long to realize that!

    Happy New Year to you!

    Erin,

I'm so glad you commented Miss Lurk. It's sad to have to buy diapers instead of hair products. I always have at least one *treat* product in the shower to alternate with the cheap stuff!

    Marie,

    Mmmmm, rosemary mint……

    Heather,

I wouldn't be able to actually bring home a paycheck if I worked in an Aveda salon, it would just go straight to product! Danger city.
