I gave up purses almost 9 months ago when my son was born. I know that’s no excuse, but here’s my diaper bag/purse nonetheless.  It’s a Skip*Hop bag that I got from Target.com. I LOVE it.

The contents, going counter clockwise:
  • 2 plastic bags for when The Boy decides to poop on his clothes
  • Changing pad made by yours truly (fabric from IKEA)
  • 1 burp rag
  • 2 extra onesies in case of an accident (see content #1)
  • 2 lists…I love lists
  • Case of wipes
  • Diaper rash cream
  • 3 diapers from Target (love them, and they’re cheap!)
  • Little make-up bag (Anthropologie)
  • 1 receipt from a return at Barnes and Noble
  • A couple toys for The Boy
  • Formula container
  • Wallet (Urban Outfitters)

The contents of the make-up bag:

  • 2 tampons
  • 2 lipsticks
  • 1 lip gloss
  • 1 chap-stick
  • Advil in the cutest little Tupperware container ever
  • Sea-bands for motion sickness (I’ve had these in my purse since I was pregnant…I never use them)
  • Pepper spray my dad gave me in NINTH GRADE. I wonder if it still works? Still, it gives me peace of mind.

Love the contents. I have the same little container for my pills. It’s in my pics that I submitted. I also use the bands whenever I’m traveling. Used them the entire 9 months I was pregnant with my second son more than 8 years ago.

This was fun. Thanks for having me!

    Rikki,

Wait til The Boy grows up and fishes the tampons out of your purse to “swordfight” in the middle of church . . .

    Luvs!
