What’s in your purse series week sixty six

This week’s What’s in Your Purse Series purse is from my dear friend Whitney from Rookie MomsShe’s fabulous.

If you love this series and want more of it, submit your purse.  Take two photos of your purse {nice, clear, non-blurry ones} one of the outside, one of the inside, along with a listing of the contents to allisonATpetitelefantDOTcom

fossil bags

  1. The purse: the brand is Fossil. It was recommended to me by my good friend Amazon.com and I sent a link to my mom who bought it for my birthday. When it arrived, I didn’t love it. But once it was stuffed with my personal items and bulked up, I began to appreciate it as an every day bag that goes with any outfit. I still miss my Orla Kiely that got robbed out of my parked car, but I am trying to move on.
  2. The messy truth: what was inside. Yes, I live a productive life this way. Hard to believe.
  3. Sorted out items, coins and bills inserted into wallet, crumbs thrown into trash, crumpled shopping lists discarded.

Here’s what you’re looking at:
  • A pair of argyle socks. I get cold in the movies and on date night, I often wish I were wearing socks once we are seated inside a theater.
  • Keys to my house and Honda.
  • Wet Ones
  • Gift cards to McDonalds. Although I’m not a customer, these were given out at Mom 2.0 and I saved them to give to homeless people. I’ve only given out one so far because I forgot about them.
  • Blackberry with pink OtterBox case.
  • Homemade tissue cozy with tissues inside.
  • Business cards
  • Wallet from Target
  • Small rubber toys called Squinkles to entertain children in restaurants.
  • Stash of barrettes and rubber bands for girl child.
  • Clean well wipes
  • BART card (public transit in the Bay Area)
  • Makeup-y things. I never ever apply eye-shadow outside the house, but I just bought this the other day and tossed it in my purse to avoid using a shopping bag.
  • Pens
  • Cleanwell hand sanitizer spray
  • Earbuds with holder. Yes, you iPhone snobs, you can listen to Pandora on Blackberries, too!
  • Un-filed receipts. As a self-employed person with no training in bookkeeping, I struggle with staying on top of my income and expense documentation.
