unique screen printed clothes for kids.

This onesie may be one of the cutest thing I’ve ever put on my baby. Handmade by Kristin of v.lou textiles, the onesie itself is high quality (and bright red!) and the applique? Color coordinated perfection in uncommonly cute patterns. Not to mention it’s an elefant. oui! A retro vibe, a modern vibe, and clearly stitched with care. Very adorable by v. lou textiles.

Creator Kristin has an eye for unique graphics I haven’t seen elsewhere–we may be partial to pachyderms around here, but I love her selection of screen printed (bikes! owls!) and appliqued designs (kangaroo! quail!). Kristin even prints her own fabric and admits her love of prints, patterns and sewing borders on obsession. I’m happy about that.
lap shoulder infant t-shirt, quail, $12
summer dress, kangaroo $20
Check out v.lou on Etsy or the official website here. Kristin’s shop goes off-line weekends during the summer but returns to active status promptly Monday mornings. If you are in the Salt Lake City area, you can find her at the Salt Lake City farmers market or the Park City Sunday Market. Details on her site.

...by day, making a home where the buffalo roam. By night, pretty much the same thing, punctuated by the occasional fantasies of sunny beaches, italian movies and sparkling lemonade.
