My little sister hosted a really adorable birthday party for her 3-year-old son over the weekend and I had to share it with you.
She procured some teddy bear *condos* from Build-A-Bear and used them as invitations.
The kids met at the store in the mall to make their own bears, and then we had a *Teddy Bear Picnic* at a local park.
Individually packed lunches for the kids with name tags. In little tiny picnic baskets no less.
{see the little Teddy Grahams in a little baggie? no detail was missed}

After lunch the kids did a Halloween craft which had been partially assembled and organized into little boxes.
There was even an *example* craft so the kids could see what to do.
Dessert was a tier of homemade cupcakes with Cinnamon Bears in the center. Adorable.
Party favors? A box of crayons for each child who came.
It was one of the cutest birthday parties I’ve ever attended, and the kids went ba-na-nas for all of it.
This is really cute. I especially love the little lunches in baskets.
Danielle,
Wasn't that a cute little touch?
Krista,
She did a really terrific job right down to the last, itty bitty detail.
Oh heavens, I just LOVE a good themed kids' birthday party and this one rocked! Planning bday parties for my kids is one of my favorite mom jobs. I may have to steal this idea ;)

Breeders Digest,
Steal away! That's why I posted it.
Tauni,
How fun! You have to copy this one then. All the little bear touches were adorable.
KJ,
Totally doable, even for a birthday party novice like myself.
Such a sweet and creative party! Loves it!
Soo cute! I am going to bookmark this for our next teddy bear event. We celebrate two teddy bear holidays at our house. I wrote about one of them here: http://www.itsatradition.com/2009/09/did-you-know-its-teddy-bear-day.html
Love those treat baskets! Reminds me of they type I'd get at the flea market with my grandma as a little girl.
Im planning my kids birthday party for the first of Jan. We are doing a teddy bear picnic and I was wondering if you could find out where she bought those cute baskets… I’ve been on the search, but I cant seem to find any. Im about ready to build my own out of paper. Super cute ideas here… Thanks for the help, Suzette
