sven kramer fever.

Have you been following the Olympics? We don’t have a television so I have to wait until the kids have gone to bed to watch whatever clips NBC deems spotlight worthy {on my laptop} at the end of the day.

My question for you is this: are you as smitten with Sven Kramer as I am? He’s adorable.

I think it has everything to do with the fact that he looks like my older brother did in middle school. And, the ladies, how they loved him. I wish I had a picture to show just how cute he was, but take my word for it, he looked a lot like Sven. Only a little taller, and skinnier.

I discussed this fact with my brother, {the Kramer look alike} via Twitter last night and he didn’t really agree with me so much as one-up me. He thinks his son, this little munchkin, will look like Sven Kramer as an adult.

Can you even handle the munchiness?

Somebody help me, I want to eat this baby. Those teeth! Those eyes! That nose.

Do you love it as much as I do that Sven Kramer is the face of a pro-bread campaign in the Netherlands? That’s something my brother could definitely stand behind.

I think I'm going to have to start tuning into the Olympics!

"Pro Bread Campaign"…now there's something you wouldn't see in a America! (I'm firmly pro-bread, FYI)

  2. briannajenkins :

I am loving all the pretending to be an expert on "insert winter games sport here" as I watch with my hubby (who prefers to listen to the commentator's opinions than mine… no idea why!)

  3. KJ :

he is really adorable. and why would bread need a campaign? what's not to love of the staff of life?

  4. Donna :

I can see why the girls adored your bro!

  5. Camille :

What a cutie! Both Sven and the Sven-to-be!
I can definitely see why your brother had the ladies hot for him! :)

  6. Dottie from Modern Kiddo :

That is seriously one edible baby!

I love the pro-bread campaign! Maybe I need to move there…

  7. MarySquare :

Okay, so I think Eddie also looks like the guy from Star Trek, Chris Pine. And Chris Pine looks like the Sven guy. So maybe Eddie will grow up to be a mix of Chris, Sven, and Hans. Ha!

And Min and I watched figure skating on the laptop this morning. She prefers the couples skating to anything else. We were watching clips from the US Women's championship and she asked, "so when does the boy come in?"

    TM Erin,

Dude, you aren't watching the Olympics? What's wrong with you? And pro bread? Of course. I can't get through a whole day without at least one piece.

    Brianna,

The actual announcers drive me completely crazy, I'm sure you're doing better than they are.

    KJ,

Bread, mmmmmm. Whole wheat, homemade bread? Mmmmmmm.

    Donna,

He was quite the lady killer. I never saw it, personally. I mean, he smelled like a teenage boy.

    Mary,

Both your boys are adorable. As soon as Sven took off his hood I was like *HANS!* It was a blast from the past I tell you.

    Camille,

The Sven-to-be has a charming, adorable, sweet personality to match. I need him to live next door to me.

    Dottie,

Oh, he's so munchy there just aren't words. Aren't his little teeth something else? AH!
