i’d send them to Peter’s grandmas; they’re often lonely and these would definitely brighten their days! and though it might sound cheesy, i’d probably think of a couple of ladies in my ward that might need a day-brightening… and maybe i’d even send one to you, Ali!! :) (no rules against butt-kissing, right?!? tee-hee!)

I would send a card to my sister in France – she needs some cheering up and would love the fact that they’re plantable. I’d send another to my artist-friend Ashley Mae, who does loads of artwork with birds – she would be thrilled at the idea of functional, biodegradeable art. This summer I’m headed to Liverpool, and I would send the rest of my cards to friends doing voluntary service for a couple years- one in New Jersey, another in Albania.

The first card I would send would be to my friend who’s moving, so she can get something personal and adorable at her new address.

She had a stroke a couple years ago, and my grandpa’s gotten old so they just sit at home all day every day. For this last Christmas, I got them a kids raise-your-own-butterflies kit and they LOVED it.
Since they were home all the time, all they did was watch their caterpillars and butterflies. My grandma even wrote to me about it recently. And I don’t think she really writes to people much anymore.
I need to write her back, and this would be perfect for her since she still gardens a little. It would like…make her month.

Too cute. I’d love to send one to everyone I know, but if I have to be selective… grandma, a college friend I haven’t talked to in a while, and one of my best friends that’s been helping me a ton on a vacation I’m planning.
I would send these Fab cards first to my cousin in Boston, who thinks she is Goddess of Go Green,(she’ll be green w/ envy) and next to other members of my family who would adore these lovely cards and enjoy planting them.
