I don’t know about you, but I’m constantly inundated with make up “must-haves” everywhere I look and it’s hard to know what’s really great make up and what’s nonsense.
I’ll tell you what, I’ve worn make-up for an embarrassingly long time and the same go to’s always end up in my make up bag. So today I’m here to share my top 10 make up picks, the stuff that goes with me whither I goest. Which is to say, I can’t live without the stuff.

The M.A.C. + Stila makeup is the most expensive out of the 10, but you get what you pay for when you buy either of those brands – the makeup stays on until you’re ready to take it off, and it lasts forever. Money well spent, for sure. The rest of my picks are amazing grocery and drugstore buys that prove you don’t have to spend a fortune on great makeup.

I think it’s just me (especially because so many people seem to like it), but I HATE Opi. It’s just too runny for me. Essie all the way baby.
I don’t always carry a makeup bag anymore because my 2 year old can work zippers now. But I do carry Blistex, either the blue moisture one or the medicated one. I love e.l.f. lip gloss and liquid lipsticks.
What would you say about Mac liner versus Clinique liner? I love the Clinique but I’ve never tried the Mac.
I love the OPI nail polishes as well. My favorie is Lincoln Park After Dark but it’s difficult to apply it since the color is so dark.
I also can’t live without my MAC lipglosses, Burts Bees lemon cuticle butter, MAC concealer, MAC studio Fix powder and a few MAC lipsticks. Yes, I am a total make up junkie and I love it!
I’m with Pennie on loving Blistex! I also love Clinique’s Lid Smoothie Eye Colour. It’s a nice foundation under powder shadow or I even wear it alone in the summer. As I age (ahem) it adds a nice moisturized color to my lids.
I LOVE MAC eye shadows, I refuse to buy anything else. It’s what I started wearing as a teenager and I love the quality!
I can’t live without my bobbi brown concealer (ummm, hello dark circles!) and bobbi brown lip gloss (clear with a tint of color, no shimmer. uh-mazing and worth the extra $$) I too am an Essie nail polish kind of girl, currently obsessed with chinchilly! I also have to carry some sort of chap stick to which I’m not picky, hand lotion and a small tube of supergoop since it’s always sunny in Denver!

When did you switch mascaras? I thought you were a hard core pink tube fan. I can’t live without the MAC viva glamV lipstick. It’s so moisturizing it has practically become my burt’s bees replacement and you can stick it overtop almost any lipstick also.
And then the laura mercier concealer. I am addicted to that little pot of goodness.
