weekly fitness tip: drink plenty of water.


Water. This is my Monday fitness tip to you today: water. Become best friends with it. Drink it all day long. Just drink it. It cleanses your system, hydrates you, {I tend to get as dehydrated in the Winter as the Summer} fills you up, keeps you focused. I’m less hungry if I drink properly. I feel better, have more energy, and consume less garbage during the day.

If you don’t like it plain {I struggle with it} do a few things to spice it up a little:

  1. -add Lemon, Lime, Orange, or Cucumber slices to it for some flavor
  2. -drink sparkling {it’s my favorite!}
  3. -keep it cold, sometimes that’s all it takes for me, a cold drink
  4. -make it pretty; put it on your desk in a pretty glass pitcher and drink out of a lovely tumbler that will keep you motivated to keep drinking

    I am sooo into my water lately, I tell myself yes I want a soda, but if I still want one after a large glass of water, then I can have it.. and I RARELY do… (plus if I don’t buy the dang stuff I won’t drink so much of it huh?)
