As you read this I am likely flying right over Arizona on my way to Houston to attend Mom 2.0 Summit. I’m probably ordering a diet coke, or a diet dr. pepper if I get really fancy, hold the ice. I hope I’ll be reading the most current People Magazine because, frankly, I haven’t had time to catch up on current events {read: celebrity drama} for weeks, and I feel a little out of touch.

Day 1: I’m planning on the pleated jacket with this tee, these jeans, and black peep toe pumps. Accessorized with some great chunky jewelry that has as of yet to be picked out of my closet. But I’m pretending it’s tomorrow, so actually, it’s done, and it’s fabulous.

Day 2: Evening. There’s a bit of a Carnivale! party, so I’m going to wear this fabulous dress. Same heels, chunky jewelry. Same song, different verse.
Day 3: {plane ride home} Jeans, my new favorite buttah tee {in white}, and silver ballet flats. Accessorized with some lovely nightshades for sure, perhaps topped off with a pair of high-quality earplugs.
What do you think? Did I fare well even without the benefit of real-life help from girlfriends? Husbands are no fun in that department, boo.

You will look FANTABULOUS! I am so excited that you get to go. I was supposed to go, won the registration, but then hubby thought he was going to have to go out of town for work. Found out last week that he doesn’t, but then I didn’t have enough time to come up with the moolah. Blah.

I was admiring the jade top and black-and-white ring skirt on the first day of Mom 2.0. Now I know the story behind that fabulous outfit! I love that the price point is reasonable, too — I would have expected it to be higher. Will definitely check out the Shade website!

You looked cute in those clothes! Thank you for the Shade tee. I’ve loved wearing it. It’s not like most t-shirts you pick up at conferences. It’s more like the $100 ones at Saks. And, it kept it’s nice shape after washing. What more can you ask for?
