things to make travel with kids easier.

If you’ve traveled very far with kids {as far as the post office counts} you know that even under the best of circumstances it can be, well, trying. I’ve done so many things over the years to lessen the pain {for all of us} including traveling with an entourage of crayons, coloring books, binoculars, & stickers. I used to haul around bins in the backseat of the car full of activities to keep the kids happy while we traveled around town.

I recently came across Little Jet Set, a company full of products that are guaranteed to make traveling with kids enjoyable {no, really}. Take the Alex Car Valet for example: it attaches to the back of the seat in your car to create a little work station for your child, with zippers and pouches to hold all their travel paraphernalia {crayons, paper, stickers, etc}. I love it!

If you’re headed for some serious Summer travel {as we’re hoping for} check out the great selection of travel guides for families from Little Jet Set. If you’re National Park folks like us this book is a fabulous guide to all the child friendly & fun features you need to know about when headed to a National Park with kids.

how nifty! wonder if the books tells you not to take children of a particular age and temperament/personality to the Grand Canyon…i’m itchin’ to get there, but don’t dare risk it at this stage of Autumn’s life! the same can be said about Yellowstone…
