I will be grateful till the end of my days about my Frigidaire kitchen appliances. Really, forever grateful. And even though it’s like complaining about getting free clothes because your closet is too full, I’m totally and completely sick of my kitchen remodel. Over it you guys, really reeeeeeally over it.
For starters, my family room still looks like this
the contents of my cabinets on display for the whole world to see. I have to go get sugar and spices from the family room floor every time I bake something.
The doors of the cabinets are still in the garage, halfway through being painted so I have open shelving. Which I’ve decided, is not the life for me.
I’d have to be much more of a minimalist for it to work. It’s just too messy.
Speaking of messy.
My kitchen table is littered with detritus from here and there, the family room stairs are covered with plywood, the kitchen is half tile/half laminate with a small strip of textured HardiBacker, and my brain feels like it’s about to explode.
At least I have my favorite frame back on the wall. That counts for something, right?
i know how you feel. when we had our windows replaced, everything was all out of whack and covered in a layer of grit for a couple of weeks. it sucked.
i do not deal well when things are not in their proper homes.
hope things will return to normal chaos levels soon.
I love that print. Love it.
We have been doing a bathroom remodel since October. For 7 months I have only taken baths, no showers, since our only other bathroom has a short ceiling (older, 1 1/2 story house). I feel your pain.
I so feel your pain (yours and Viktor's). My whole house is pretty much in upheaval. The guest room closet doors are on the back patio, but it's been raining so much I can't get any painting done. The walls are not yet fully connected to the ceiling (a long story), the ceiling is not fully finished being painted and we ran out of that color months ago… and the list goes on. But what you have done is so pretty. I love it. :o) "this too shall pass" and you'll look back and not even remember the chaos like it really is. ;o)
Oh, I feel for you. I love that Victor left a note here, giving his side of the story. :)
I also could not live with open cabinets. Mine are too crammed!
It time to call over the friends and get a little remodel party going on!!
I'll finish it when I get back tonight. It's been blowing or raining every time I get set up to put that final coat of clear on. There is really not that much left to do; it's all cake walk from here.
