kids in the garden

Without fail, if I’m working in the yard, my toddler wants to work in the yard. With the big heavy grown up sized shovels and rakes. It quickly becomes frustrating for both of us, but he’s not content with the small plastic toy shovel I keep offering. Apparently, it just doesn’t get the job done for him.
I’ve searched high and low and I may have found the perfect solution at Main Street Supply. The website is decidedly no-frills, but their children’s section offers up some fantastic, classically styled outdoor toys at great prices.
Rakes, spades and the like, $5.99
steel heads and solid wood handles. just what I’m looking for.

Kid-sized wheelbarrow by Radio Flyer, $43.09
I’m loving this.

Oh those are fantastic! I think C would go bananas for his own wheelbarrow and tools.
