Did you know you can shave with conditioner? It’s true.

When I travel I don’t bother bringing shaving cream with me on the plane, it’s way too much hassle for one girl to deal with on a regular basis. Instead I use whatever cheap-o hotel conditioner is waiting for me when I arrive. I’m not sure exactly what it is in the conditioner that makes it right for shaving, {some sort of moisturizing goodness} but it works like magic.
Slather on enough conditioner to cover the area you plan on shaving {yes, even your lady bits} and have at it. It’s smooth enough that you won’t get razor burn no matter how hard you try.

I’ve been using regular ol’ shampoo for years!
Conditioner has been my shaving cream of choice for over a year now. I have sensitive skin and it seems to be the only thing that doesn’t cause irritation or razor burn. Great tip!
I thought I was the only one! It’s also very good way to use up left over conditioner. I seem to use more shampoo than conditioner so when I switch brands I’m left with quarter full bottles.
I have done this for years, and I actually more mild than actual shaving cream which sometimes makes me breakout.
I do this all the time when I run out of shaving cream :)
I have only done this when I don’t have shaving cream…. but I think it is probably cheaper to use conditioner all the time instead!! Thanks for the tip, I’ll have to test it out.
I get razor burn with shaving cream (bummer), so I will have to try this out!
Conditioner as shaving cream is awesome. I’ve even heard somewhere that you can re-sharpen your disposable razor blades on an old pair of jeans. Cheap beauty is dope.
I heard about this when I was 15 and never went back since… makes your legs sooo soft
Love this tip! I usually forget to pack the shaving cream. But let’s face it, shaving is necessary on a vacation where the beach or pool is involved. So, I will definitely put the hotel conditioner to use!
