Home made Christmas ideas

I don’t think there’s anything better than a home made Christmas. Really.

Anytime I receive a home made anything during the holidays I’m so grateful someone has taken the time to make something personal and give it to me.  Moi.  Yours truly.

I don’t mind making home made holiday gifts either, it’s pretty great.  Easy on the wallet, great on the return, and on and on.  So to help you along in your gift making {and gift giving!} I’ve rounded up a small handful of home made gift ideas I’ve made over the years.

From me to you, Happy Holidays!

I think I might have to make that citrus scrub.. looks like fun! I did the BF thing and got a 15$ Ninja…

    • Allison :

Katrina, it’s amazing too. Smells like summer.

  2. Sunny :

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! I think I might do the citrus and sugar scrubs for my lady friends this season! Who doesn’t need a little something this winter as a “pick me up”?

    • Allison :

Sunny, I’m telling you I’m getting ready to make a handful of batches. Smells delicious, the cost is tiny, hand made. Win, win, WIN.

  3. Erin O. :

I made your sugar scrub the other day because I was looking a little dry and beat-down by the winter air. Used it last night…today, I look AMAZING.

I mean, my SKIN looks amazing. ;)

    • Allison :

Erin you always look ah-may-zing. Always. But isn’t your skin just glowing? Uh, love.

  4. Kristen :

    Such great ideas!

    • Allison :

Kristen, I think you need some sugar scrub/stress relief in your life. I can feel it!

  5. Christine M of Hartlyn Kids :

I LOVE homemade gifts. Even if I purchase a gift, I always have to pair it with a handmade item. I’ll have to try my hand at the Citrus Scrub.

    • Allison :

Christine, that’s such a lovely idea. I might do that too! You really need to try the scrub though, it’s great.

  6. Shari :

I love homemade gifts. I sadly, have not photographed gifts that I have made in the past, but will remember to photograph them all this year! I’m thinking scrubs for all my girlie friends! =)

  7. Marie :

The scrubs are on. I think it’s citrus my Seattlites are getting this year, as we all need a little more color in our palettes!!

  8. Amy :

Great ideas! Love em! I’m doing all homemade gifts this year, so these are perfect. thanks:-)

  9. Cameron :

I will definitely make the citrus scrub – my fave scent. The only scent I get (for myself) from B&BW is white citrus – boring, but if you know what you like, you know what you like! I know I’ve said this before, but I just LOVE your blog and pins – impeccable taste, the best ideas, and great tutorials. Keep it up!

  10. Lisa [With Style and Grace] :

  11. Jamie :

Just whipped up SIX sugar scrubs (brown sugar/ vanilla) for teachers in about an hour. Cool deal! Now to wrap and label them!!!! Thanks for the great idea!
