I met some ladies last week who made the trip to Nashville, Tennessee for BlissDom {a social media conference} completely worth the plane ride. Two of these ladies were introduced to me the day before the conference actually started, and it’s like we’re sisters from another mother.
April let me root around in a plastic bag until I found just the right piece of jewelry in the perfect color, which happened to be a grey ‘Keep Calm and Carry On‘ adjustable ring. She had loads of other goodies in there, but I tried to show a little restraint by choosing only one as any big girl should do.
It was hard, I wanted to grab the bag out of her hands and make a break for the elevators, but I held firm.
April was rooming with her friend Jessica who also had a bag of treats in her purse, of the rosette earring variety. I didn’t think it was quite fair that so much creativity was housed under one hotel room roof, so I did my part by taking a pair of earrings off Jessica’s hands.
That makes total sense, right?
I still can’t take the earrings out of the business card, they’re just too adorable sitting here on my desk with their stems intact. They’d be lonely without the stems, wouldn’t they?
