Here’s my fit tip today:
DIVERSITY
If you love to run, try Tae Bo. If you walk, try swimming. If you like to lift weights, try yoga. Mix it up a bit. It keeps the monotony of exercise at bay and gives your muscles a little confusion, which is a good thing, even if it doesn’t sound like it.
What are YOUR fit tips? Hand ’em over ladies!

Allison
Hello there! I'm Allison Czarnecki, founder + editor of Petit Elefant, a blog all about style on a budget for every part of your life: style / home / travel / family. I do a lot of how-to beauty + style tutorials, travel posts, easy recipes, home remodel projects, and cool DIY crafts you totally want to try. I'm super happily married (to a hot Polish immigrant) and am the mother of two kids, a daughter and son, all of whom are featured here on the regular. We live in the country but we're a little bit rock + roll. Welcome!
Grab a baby. I try to do lunges, squats or twists while I’m holding my new baby. At least it’s something, right? When he gets a little bit bigger I can lay him next to me when I do crunches, or in front of me when I do push ups (ok, wimpy girl style pushups) making him laugh when I pop into his line of vision.
my friend told me that she drinks a big glass of water BEFORE her meal so that she doesn’t over eat.
I totally agree. Variety is key. The other thing? Have a mix of indoor and outdoor activities, especially if you are an outdoor excerciser. Rain can easily make you say, “I can’t run today…”
In strictly general terms: Hydrate! Variety! Balance! Things to keep in mind when making a personal fitness or diet plan!
