This is the easiest outfit out there right now; it takes two seconds to throw on, looks really pulled together, and is really comfortable to boot. Everybody wins.
Shade Clothing Oxford Shirt + GAP Perfect Boot Jeans +
Forever 21 Faux Leather Belt
I cashed in my Brand About Town coupon {the people who sent me to Chicago} from BlogHer for a free pair of jeans, and I have to say I think GAP is onto something with their Perfect Fit campaign. I must have tried on literally 15 pair of jeans and did, in fact, find the perfect fit: Perfect Boot Dark Wash. They offer a little *ahem* tummy coverage for those of us who have given birth in the last 15 years. P.S. Dark wash is always more flattering, it hides a lot.
Now pair those perfect fit jeans with an Long Sleeve Oxford from Shade Clothing, add a belt and a pair of boots, and voila. Perfect fall outfit.
love the gap perfect boot. also the real straight because I can wear a smaller size in that style! pathetic. but you look foxy. I envy belt-wearers. I have a straight figure (it used to be curvy) and belts just don't flatter.
KJ,
You can wear it loose around your waist if you don't have a *natural waist*. Just think of it as an extra accessory.
You and your hot self!! I just don't think I could rock a belt like you do. I think I have too long of a torso. Do a post on belt wearing! Help me find a look that would work, and we'll cross post!!!
Okay. super cute. I think I need to embrace this belt around the waist outside the shirt thing. It is so cute! But again…am afraid.
Marie,
Belts are the best thing to happen to women with children. They emphasize the best part of your body. OF COURSE you can rock it, we just need to go shopping.
Miranda,
This is me virtually holding your hand. You can do it! Seriously, it ties the whole outfit together and is so so adorable.
You look darling! I am loving all your tutorials. So, I ventured out today and wore a belt over my top with a long skirt. I was nervous about it knowing that I have absolutely no curves, but I wore it lower on my hips and it was pretty darn cute. Thanks for the ideas!
You are gorgeous. I love your pictures and your skinny jean one…holy crap you are awesome!
