Transportation by electric bikes is the way of the future! I’m serious, so let’s talk about why.

Last month I shared with you how in love I am with my electric bike as a new mode of transportation around my city and why. This month I’m here to show you the bike in action (me! on an e-bike! in my favorite places around town!) and to talk more about the benefits of riding an e-bike.
I’ve already covered what an electric-bike is doing for me in my daily life, but here’s a recap: I’m getting out more, period. I’m taking time in my day to spend at least 20-30 minutes on a bike ride, which I just wasn’t doing before, and I love it. I’m obsessed. An e-bike makes bike riding more fun! And exciting! And I look forward to it in a way I didn’t look forward to pedaling around before. So there’s that, too.
But what I didn’t cover before, why I’m reallllly excited about the e-bike is for daily errands; normally I’d use my car, and now I’m using my e-bike. The bike has become another mode of transportation entirely. If I need to go to the library to grab some books, it’s easier to take my bike. If I want to pop down to my favorite antiques store to see what they’ve got in stock, my e-bike is the best (and frankly more fun) way to do it. Need a gallon of milk and a loaf of bread at the store? Ditto all that.
Did I mention it’s environmentally friendly and I get a workout in, in a whole new sneaky way? I’m besotted, and totally convinced e-bikes are the future of transportation. Check out the video and see if you think so too!

When you first posted about an ebike I was so excited. I had a bad motorcycle accident in my teens and have been very limited in what I could do and was always left behind when my husband and grandkids went on their bike rides. I thought what a great idea! We were going to Va Beach on vacation and I talked to my husband about just looking a their local ebike store, so we went, and I am the owner of a new ebike and it is everything you say! I am so excited! I have been riding for the last two days, a little sore, but loving the freedom and gaining confidence in my abilities! Thank you soooooo much, you have changed my life!
Victoria, I can’t tell you how happy that makes me! Having an e-bike has been a revolution for me, so I totally understand what you mean! I’m so glad you found something that helps you keep up with the people you love, and the freedom! Man, the freedom alone is so worth it! Hooray!
What a wonderful message — You can see the happiness and independence (empowerment?) that this has offered you.
