homemade colored pasta.

Spring Break kind of snuck up on me. That’s what happens when you go on vacation the week before Spring Break; you end up all sorts of confused when it’s really time for vacation.

C is home with me, dying of boredom and looking to do some crafts, so I looked to my favorite craft resource for some ideas to keep us occupied for a little while: Make & Takes. Marie is the cleverest person I know. Really. We’re in the midst of making this craft of colored pasta necklaces. It’s the perfect craft for a rainy Spring Break day, which it just so happens to be at my house.

For full details go here. Seriously, this craft is awesome. And cheap. Did I mention that you probably have all this stuff in your cupboards already?

We have done this one as well. LOVE it! We also glued pasta onto cardstock to make pretty pictures.

Oh Katie, good thinking! Maybe I’ll make some mother’s day cards for the grandparents gluing on macaroni!

We will have to do this tomorrow. Yesterday we made rainbows with glue and Pixie sticks. They turned out so pretty!
