Sometimes I just love what I do. I’ve been a fan of the local Timpanogos Storytelling Festival for years. My mom was one of the original brains behind the idea, so it’s near and dear to my heart. A few months ago I was invited to attend a *mini* storytelling festival event sponsored by Cherish Bound, a company dedicated to helping you create and publish your own stories.
A natural fit as a sponsor of the Storytelling festival don’t you think?

For a busy mom who loved to scrapbook in a previous life, Cherish Bound is a dream come true. You use story starters to help you get an idea of what you want to write about {they’re really helpful}, and then you just let it flow. Are you burning to write a book about your crazy uncle {fill-in-the blank}, your college years, wedding story, baby’s first year of life?
I love books, I love stories, and I love scrapbooking so Cherish Bound is pretty awesome for me as a combination of all three. I love the idea of a hard backed copy of the stories that make up my life, and the life of my family members. The books are fun to make, and even more fun to look at when you’re done. You know you want to try it.
Cherish Bound is giving away three gift certificates for you to make your own book. $100, $75, $50, woot!

Well, recently we had some family videos stolen in a home burglary. These were videos of our first two children from birth to about 5 years old. We are all so sad that these precious things are gone. It would be nice to try to recreate our memories by writing stories for the girls.
