old school sesame street

Look what I found today over at drool.icio.us. {via the NY Times}:

sesame street dvd
Old School 1969-1974
$39.98
{via theSesame Street Store.}
Watching these old episodes of Sesame Street makes me nostalgic for the golden days of my youth. When my daughter was younger I used to buy up old VHS copies from half.com of the early Sesame Street episodes, {and o.k. they were really mostly for me} but she went crazy for them as well. They just don’t make them like they used to. I think I just found my Valentine’s present to myself.

    so neat-o!! :) this is one of the very, very, VERY few things i remember watching before we had no more TV! i’ve exposed all three of my kids to Sesame Street, mostly ’cause i have wanted to watch it. :) i’m afraid now that Autumn would miss Abby Cadabby too much if i went ‘old school’ on her…who knows though, right?! maybe my enthusiasm would rub off on her… :)
