Only one more day until the official start of the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics. I don’t know about the rest of you but the Olympics are my favorite.

And how cool is it that one of the top contenders is a mom? I’ll definitely be keeping my eye on Dara Torres. She rocks.

I’m totally with ya on this one!! We live just outside Salt Lake City so we were able to be involved in the 2002 Winter Olympics….UNBELIEVABLE! They are so inspiring!
Did you see Dana at the opening ceremonies with her daughter?! I mean, I might be a little hormonal right now, but it made me tear up. To share something THAT monumental with your kids? Wow. The little one is so young she won’t remember it, but her mama sure will for the rest of her life. I’m so proud for her and for Mamas everywhere!
