apple prints.

I realized today that it’s been awhile since I’ve put up a craft, so let’s get to it! This is what I plan on making with my two little ones this coming weekend: fruit themed stationary. Do this with your kids, using any leftover apples you might have roaming around your house {we have a tree drooping to the ground with them}.

  1. Cut a round apple in half, poke out seeds with toothpick and set aside.
  2. Blot the cut surface with a paper towel until it’s dry.
  3. Brush white acrylic paint all over the cut surface, then add a line of red or green around the edges. If the stem is attached, brush brown paint on it.
  4. Stamp the apple on a folded piece of card stock.
  5. If you want seeds on your apples, paint them in after the other paint has dried.

Perfect for thank you cards or simple letters to grandma.
