Our travels tend to consist of weekend visits to our families. Given the frequency of these trips, I bought my husband a fantastic bag, which he doesn’t like to share (I kid, I kid…sorta). This is fine, except it’s making my overstuffed hobo bag and pillowcase look pretty bad – even though it’s a dang cute pillow case. Anyway, I’d LOVE to get this bag (and then not share it with my husband).

I am taking a couple trips on a plane this summer, first time in YEARS-and have no luggage whatsoever. Yes, I am guilty of using a large diaper bag as my own personal travel bag (not for my baby!). I do in fact organize the contents with ziplock bags and plastic grocery sacks (in case the shampoo leaks).
This dwell bag is 1000% cooler than my “diaper bag”.

i get more uses out of backpacks than anything. i’ve been an avid backpack user since junior high (all through my military career, graduate school, and now as a diaper bag in a pinch). so, my weekend bag is my back pack which doesn’t usually fit in everything I need, although it is comfortable. yes, i use plastic zippered bags and plastic grocery store baggies for the rest of my gear, too (dirty undies, shoes, toiletries). I’d love something more stylish, modern, and fun.
I have a set of big, bulky luggage. Nothing carry-on sized. This would be fantastic! (Especially since United will be charging for the *first* piece of checked luggage now!)

My husband and I make joint decisions about almost all purchases. This is a totally chic and fun bag, so he would never agree to it. Travel bags must be black, black, black, or if I caught him on a wild day maaaaybe dark navy. We frequently roadtrip to visit family and as a full-time mom I do all the packing, so this would make the work more fun and put a little color in my life. Did I mention that after 7 years we’re finally painting our all ecru walls. He gave me tons of choices–any shade of brown or white. But I digress… He’s a wonderful man just color-averse. :)

Nothing against Vera Bradley (many of you love their bags) but I hate the one my brother and sister-in-law got me a few years ago. It’s just not my style, and unfortunately, it’s a good travel bag with its pockets and roominess. However, I love this weekender bag and would be so happy to win so Vera can travel with someone else!

Ohhh, Lordy me! I’m embarrassed to tell, but my current weekender bag is a hunter green rolling suitcase…with ONE WHEEL! Yup, back when we went to California, oh a year and a half ago, one of the wheels broke. I keep trying to throw the bag away, but my darling husband thinks that it’s still got miles and miles of useage left. While it probably does, my 8 year old drug it through the house one day and now my wood floors have a beautiful (ahem, not!) scratch, due to the one wheeled suitcase.

That is one fab weekend bag! When we visit my in-laws for the weekend, I use my husband’s well-worn black Eddie Bauer duffel bag. It still does the job, but ‘style’ is not the first word that comes to mind when you see it, and I’d love a bit of style!

Until recently, I had an old Vera Bradley bag that I used for everything! I received it as a gift years ago, when I was in college and had no idea that Vera Bradley bags were so great! My family went away last weekend and our “bags” included: two laundry hampers for clothes & linens, an old Land’s End diaper bag for toiletries, 4 reusable shopping bags for snacks/books/misc, and one of those clear plastic zip-up bags that quilts come in (my daughter wanted her own “suitcase”). We could really use some style here.

My current bag is an old old old Liz Claiborne bag that I got in an outlet in 1994 while traveling on business. It has a black and white animal print that looks kind of like a cow print. The black coating on the handles flakes off in my hand every time I pick it up and the white parts of the animal print are very dingy with age and wear. I would love this bag for any and all road trips, biz and pleasure, it is classy and fun w/out being silly or too young.

This is such a cute bag!! I currently use a school back pack or a rolly duffle bag. If I were to wind this adorable bag, I would be such a stylish new Mommy to with my 8 month old baby. :) My husband and I are preparing to go overseas next year to do mission work so this would also be little splurge before we go.

My current weekend bag is a bag my uncle and his now Ex wife bought in Hawaii on their honeymoon because they were bringing too much back home with them. It’s about 18 years old and it’s showing it.
Because like every other “clever” person, I got a set of red luggage so I could see my bag easily on on the baggage carousels at the airpport. Everyone has red now, and dirt and filth really shows up on red. Ugh. If I won this awesome bag, I would never check it, but carry it with me at all times. I love it!

I have been adoring the bag ever since I first saw it. As luck would have it, I just found that I have to travel by myself with my two kids ( a 3 year old and a 1 year old) from Arizona to Michigan. I have this beat up, cheap black rolling tote that my mom gave me for christmas one year, prolly cost about 10 bucks at walmart or something. I’m determined to use it til it totally falls apart (hubby and I already bolted the wheels back onto the bottom) before I spend money on a nice, new one.
I’m actually visiting my parent’s house right now! I’m ashamed to admit it, I’m still using luggage my grandmother handed down to me when I was in high school. It’s a horrible avocado green color. Not good, not good.

Hi there! What a fantastic giveaway! Our brood consists of myself, my husband Hudson and our 3 children. Our current travel bags are ultra basic, my husband and I both use oversized solid black duffle bags. They really hold a lot, but they are not stylish at all. As for our children, well, our youngest is only 4 months old, so she can share with Mommy, LOL! Our other 3 kids, 3 and 7 years old really don’t have travel bags per say, they both have cute backpacks that they wear and they have small duffle bags for when they have weekends at their grandparents, or the few times they have travelled. But, the great news is that in August we are ALL going to Cape Cod for 10 days. That should be fun and interesting to say the least, our first time travelling with a newborn baby! That has got to be one of the cutest things I have ever seen! My luggage is sturdy, old American Tourister stuff I bought at a yard sale 20 years ago and it was 30 years old when I bought it – not kidding. It is the old hard-sided stuff from the commercials that the gorilla threw around the cage and could not destroy. For just a weekend I use the giveaway from the makeup counter, but it’s falling apart. If I won that bag, I would find someplace to go next weekend already, screw the gas price!

My choice for travel bags depends on the number of days I’ll be away and the destination. I have a black mini-traveling bag (I’m not sure if it’s designed for traveling but I love it) from Fendi. It has zippers on and it could accommodate 3 days worth of clothings. The recent one I have is from my mini-vaca in Boracay, it has zipper and it’s made out of denim clothing.
I’d be needing this one because I’ll be travelling *again* soon -God willing. We’re either going to Hongkong or Singapore and this just looks perfect for this trip.

My current weekend bag was recently trashed. It was a bland, black Mudd messager bag that got mold on. I accidently forgot to eat the banana that I left in one of the pockets (I’m trying to eat healither)and it was definitely not a pretty sight when I found it a few days later.

I actually put my clothes in a paper bag last time I took a weekend trip to my sisters. I told her I was a “bag lady”, when in actuality I truly was. (my daughter borrowed the only bag I had & hasn’t yet returned it. It is a polka dot bag I found at K-Mart eons ago:)
hehe Im glad to see I’m not alone in the Mommy world using sub-par luggage to shlep around stuff while we’re on vacation. We *sigh* use my husband’s old bag from boot camp. Even though the liner came unstitched I don’t know how long ago. Time for an upgrade!
It’s been 4 years since my dad died and I haven’t been to my mom’s house since (I’ve been too much of a wreck!) But this summer I must pack up the kids and take them to Nana’s, in NC. They love it there and I can’t keep them away any longer! I usually pack stuff in plastic bags!

Funny you should mention ziploc bags, cause I use them for everything, including travel. Could use this travel bag could go with us to France in a few weeks, and hold the various items that we have placed in ziploc bags.

Oh I forgot to answer the question: Why would I need this bag? First off I’m having a new baby, it’d be cool to use as a multi purpose purse/diaper bag (fashionable too), plus I have a 15 month old son so I’m sure he’d have something to contribue to the bag. Also my current bag is something frm Bath and Body Works that I got lotions in… LOL its cute but not big enough for every day needs.

Oh…you made me laugh. One nice floral cosmetics bag stuffed with ziplocs and produce bags for cosmetic supplies, and one old nylon large duffle bag for clothes.
I really don’t travel any farther than 2 hours away, but will have to “upgrade” for my son’s wedding in Aruba next spring!

Currently, I do use ziploc’s (fashionable I know!) for things that might spill. The bag I put most of my make-up in I have had since high school, and my “major” travel bag is an UGLY, bulky, plain black suit case- YUCK!

We travel a TON! My husband took a job in Houston leaving me with our 5 month in Dallas trying to sell the house. We travel to see him a lot and I literally am using a large, paper “La Madaleine” take out bag. It is wearing thin and ii need something more durable.

How embarrassing! I have a John Deere over the shoulder bag for short trips – yup, green with a big ole logo. I also use a 10 – 15 year old black rolling backpack if I need a little more room. My bath/hair/body items go in zip lock bags. I put plastic grocery bags inside for dirty clothes. Go ahead and say it. You know you want to! — “Country coming to town!”

This bag is so beautiful. The only luggage I have is the old Starlight (don’t know if they even make it anymore). Big, hard as rock plastic, and so heavy. I am an Elementary art teacher, I’m always looking for fun and trendy new things. I know this bag would make all of my friends jealous and then they’ll have to buy one too! I love to travel, but on a teachers budget I have to choose between really stellar luggage and a vacation. This way I wouldn’t have to choose!

Nothing matches and everything is worn out. I, of course, as any smart traveler would, also use ziploc bags to contain liquid-filled items!
