I have 2 boys, aged 4 years and 19 months. Mostly I only leave the house for a few hours at a time since I work from home and have a toddler who still naps. At times my purse is also filled with Goldfish crackers, sippie cups, Eric Carle board books and the Fisher Price iXL video game.

- thin purple wallet (the size keeps me streamlined and forces me to dump receipts)
- Clinique “free gift” makeup bag
- Cover Girl oil-free face powder
- 3 Silly Bandz in military shapes (tank, jet & helicopter)
- thin notebook to keep my lists, reminders, quotes, ideas, etc.
- 2 pens since 1 will get lost
- Nature Valley Chewy Trail Mix granola bar (for whoever is hungry & whiny in the car, including me)
- Wrigley’s Double-mint gum & 2 empty wrappers (one of my boys loves mint gum)
- not pictured: old red Crackberry mobile phone
In the small makeup bag: I keep several lipsticks together so I can grab this bag and not think about where each color is stashed.
