I’m not a big fan of “diva” or “princess” shirts for my daughter. It’s a personal preference really, but I’m kind of feminist that way. I don’t want my daughter to think her only value as a girl is in the role of a princess or diva or whateverelsedemeaningsomeonecanmarket. So as you can imagine, I’m more than a little thrilled that I found Ava’s Closet, creator of such shirts as: “Doctor Not Diva” and “President Not Princess”. I like “President Not Princess.” My daughter finally announced that she’s not interested in princesses anymore and she wants everyone to vote for her.
“Take my on adventures” is my favorite. We finally took our girls camping this summer, twice. We thought it would be a nightmare because they don’t like bugs and dirt, but they did really well and wanted to go again.
