Friends, whether or not I end up having surgery to pay for my extracurricular sports activity on the mountain at Park City a couple weeks ago, my new year includes health goals.

Our family just got a Wii for Christmas, and one of my goals (I really hate the word “resolution”) for 2011 is to log some fun exercise time on there. Plus, I love, love, love the Biggest Loser! Was just saying last night that the TV show should be a “work out while you watch” show with prompts every few minutes. Anyway, love your blog!

  14. Kimm :

I am hoping that we can all be healthier as a family. Less junk, more fresh produce, scratch made food, which brings me to resolution #2. Be more domestic, more cleaning, cooking and all around good wifery. (I made the word wifery up and I am totally OK with that.)

  42. Jessica Mae :

I would love to win those!! Every past year my resolution has been to lose weigh and make my body one to love. This year I’m resoluting to not change my body so my mind can be happy with it, but change my mind so I can be happy with my body. one of my resolutions is to get back on track healthwise… not just loose weight but make sure i am sleeping enough and taking time for myself!

EA Sports Active 2.0 sounds really cool. I want to lose 10 pounds of fat over the next two months. If I can do that, I’ll continue and try to repeat that. (I’ll work on it regardless, but want to get that much done.)

I also want to work on presenting a tech session for the SQL groups. I learn more and hopefully pass on something useful to others.

  69. Heidi E :

Well, for once in my life at the beginning of a new year I am not stressing about my body or weight. Yay! I quite like how i’m looking these days. My mom introduced me to a way of eating that is awesome and helped me lose all my baby weight. Good stuff! So this year I am hoping to focus more on quality time with my kids! It’s not really that hard but I’m a woman and it’s easy to give myself a guilt trip. So wish me luck!

  71. Victoria S. :

I resolve to clean my desk off. Probably won’t last but every once in a while I finally break down and do it.

  72. Karen :

Always at the top of the list is to be healthier (lose weight, get to the gym more often, etc) and then for the 3rd year in a row – develop a budget. I don’t know why I keep putting it off – maybe I don’t want to see how much we actually spend on stupid stuff!

  73. Cassie Jowers :

  79. Tricia :

I’m boring: My NYR is to lose weight. But I’m actually doing it! Well, one week in.

  80. nicole b. :

since we are pretty much holed up for the winter, being among the few non-skiers/non-snowboarders in Utah (which has helped us avoid accidents like yours, but also means we don’t get as much exercise as we should), Santa brought us a new xbox kinect, our first venture into video games. so exercising via video games is one of our family goals this winter.

  81. renee :

ooOOoo–great giveaway! I have resolved to actually use my weight loss equipment instead of looking at it everyday and saying, “I should really use that sometime.” I worked out with my Biggest Loser game today, so I’m off to a moderate start :)
