I’ll give you a hint: it starts with gar and ends with bage.

Sooooo useful! I seriously applied my makeup with those brushes for at least fifteen years. Fifteen years!! This year I finally got SOOOOO tired of holding the sponge onto the plastic stick (because the glue that kept it there never lasted more than a month) that I went out and bought two makeup brushes.

However, I still have NO IDEA how to use my new makeup brushes correctly, so I can’t wait for your vlog on that. Here is what I would like you to address:

    1) When I use a real brush (by “real brush” I mean a cheap Cover Girl brush—do I need more than that?) to apply eye shadow, I get a LOT of dust falling under my eyes. Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong? If I’m trying to do a dark color like for smokey eyes (which I never do… remember how Mike wanted nothing to do with me when I came home from your last makeup party?) then this creates dark shades on my cheeks when I try to wipe it away with a tissue.

    2) I bought two but use only one because I have no idea what the different brushes and shapes are for.

    Thank you!!

      Sigh.

I think you’re not the only one in this boat Alma, which is why I posted the video in the first place.

I’ve got loads of answers for you, all coming in the form of vlogs…

“These should be outlawed” Bahahaha. I’m sending this clip to my husband right now. How can he be upset about my brush purchases after watching this?!

    • Allison :

He can’t be. It’s morally reprehensible to keep these brushes around.

  3. Heather :

Oh man I thought you were going to cover your black eye and it would go away like magic!! Oh well!!

    • Allison :

I’m afraid I don’t have the tools necessary. Sigh.
