One of my favorite sites, Simple Mom, had a great article today about composting. It’s something I’ve wanted to try for a long time but haven’t really figured out how to make it happen. This article gives a pretty basic, step-by-step guide to making your own compost bin. I’m really going to do this, starting now. I can’t wait, this is going to be a lifesaver to my Summer garden as well as a contribution to the environment.

we’ve had composters in several different forms over the years. it really works and is very easy. my husband just said last night, “i’m starting a new compost pile soon!” as i dumped our empty potato skins in the trash can. the trash! heaven forbid. :)
