Let’s face it, even though I’m not exactly earning a living with this blogging business, it does come with some pretty great perks. Like being invited to a Goldsmith Jewelers red carpet event with a bunch of hot Utah bloggers. It’s always fun to spend a night chit chatting with my blogging friends while noshing on delicious catering and drinking sparkling cider from swanky glasses. See what I mean about all the hotness?

Goldsmith Jewelers? Well, they’re really good at what they do. They polished my rings to the point of blinding sparkly goodness and were superb in the customer service department. In fact, I remember very well being told by Alma when she was ring shopping that the only jeweler who actually helped her get the ring she wanted was Goldsmith. And when we showed up for the event, they actually remembered her {and called her by name!} from two years ago. Ku-dos.

So, you know how fashion styles hit Europe well before they get to the U.S.? And how even in the U.S. styles hit the east and west coasts well before they make it to middle America? Well it turns out the same is true of jewelry. I had no idea, I mean I kind of assumed fashion and jewelry went together, but I have many things yet to learn grasshopper, many things.

Pandora charm bracelets are kind of the bomb in Europe, and I for one, had no idea. Maybe if we actually got to Poland I would know these things. I digress. Pandora charm bracelets are the kind of charm bracelets I would actually wear and add onto for special occasions. I mean look at the charms. I was so tempted to get a little froggy to represent P since she is in love with frogs and is even queen of the froggy club at school. Don’t ask, it’s complicated. But then again the little bird kind of looks like a little twitter bird. And the cupcake? I don’t think I need to spell that one out for you. So needless to say, I had a bit of a hard time choosing. I ended up going with a pretty basic little silver charm but I’ll be back, I promise. Alma had a bit of a hard time choosing. In fact, she didn’t really choose at all, she got a few to satisfy her Pandora cravings.

While I love my new Pandora bracelet, you know I wouldn’t just show you amazing jewelry without sharing right? Come on, you should expect better of me.
