I’m getting ready for my family Summer vacation and I can’t wait to take my new Eye-Fi card on the road. I first learned about Eye-Fi at Mom 2.0, where I learned what celebrities feel like with flashing cameras in their face all the time. It was awesome.
This amazing guy named Ziv shot the whole weekend, and uploaded it onto a Mom 2.0 flickr site. What I didn’t know until the night of the Mardi Gras party, is that Ziv’s photos were uploading automatically as he shot them. Let me repeat that in case you missed it: Ziv’s photos were uploading automatically to his computer as he shot them.
So, this photo? Uploaded on the Mom 2.0 Flickr site as it was taken. I mean, doesn’t that feel so 23rd century?

What does this mean for you? Put an Eye-Fi card in your camera, take photos {within a Wi-Fi network range}, and your photos & videos will automatically transfer to your computer and whatever photo sharing site you use {flickr for example}! Frankly, I think it’s amazing. Like science-fiction, but better.
This means that while I’m on my family vacation in California, I can take photos and upload them automatically to my Flickr site, which I’ll share with you. If you’re so inclined, you can follow me down the coast and see how many places C tries to drown himself in the ocean.
now that is really really cool…
Amazing! Put that on my wish list!
Holy cow! I am so behind. i thought I was high speed being able to work me digital picture frame.
