spring break in utah.


It’s not warm in Utah right now. In fact, I’m pretty miserable. Yesterday I woke up to six inches of snow outside; it looked like Christmas.


It’s pretty, yes, but it’s not exactly what I had in mind for *Spring Break*. I was thinking more along the lines of warm Summer beach weather in California.

Not so much.



Instead, I’m all bundled up inside drinking hot cocoa and watching movies on my laptop. Tristan & Isolde might not have done well in the theaters but I have a soft spot for it anyway.



My beach cruising days will have to wait. Unfortunately.

Spring break in Utah is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get.

I happened to get that weird piece no one will eat because it’s filled with some sort of nasty cherry paste. Of course.

    I hate this weather. But I do love a good box of chocolates as long as someone else eats the nasty cherry paste-filled ones. Oh, and loved that movie!

    I love that movie! Sorry that the weather isn't cooperating. We are in Arkansas for spring break and we had three gorgeous day and today it is pouring down like there is no tomorrow. Lighning actually striked one of the units were we are staying.

    Beautiful pictures. I am so not in love with the snow and I get unreasonably mad whenever it starts snowing…at least when it is APRIL!

    I hope you enjoy your cocoa and you start to feel better. Another great snuggle movie…Pride & Prejudice.

    Of course the weather can up and change at any minute. Remember a couple of days ago, wind, snow, rain, hail, and then every now and then the sun would poke its head through the clouds only to vanish moments later. Now its sunny, but its not warm. =/

    I feel your pain! Spring Break should be celebrated with sun and cruisers. Not hot chocolate! Thank goodness for 60 degee weather tomorrow!!
