We love Klutz books in our house. They’re the people responsible for sending Precocious the core of her life, the terrifically clever Encyclopedia of Immaturity. Which she carries with to school in her backpack, in the car on road trips, and to Sunday dinner at my parents’ house.
The newest book in their collection, Fashion Origami, has gotten us through our extremely cold Spring Break.
The book contains the instructions and materials to make darling fashion origami. Purses, sundresses, shoes, you name it. Whomever thought of this had Precocious in mind, and any other little girl age 8-100. Well, my grandmother probably would have thought origami was a waste of time but that’s neither here nor there. We love it, and that counts for a lot.
Doesn’t it look fun? Precocious and a friend are in her room assembling origami outfits as I type this, avoiding Charming and his posse, having the time of their lives.
Klutz has a free origami download just for you to print up and fold at home. Wasn’t that thoughtful?
Cute stuff.
I would have totally dug that as a little girl.
What am I talking about? I would totally dig that right now.
Me too – no girls in my house. It will be left up to me to test run this one : )
Perfect for Precocious.
Someday my daughter will be old enough, she'll be eight in only seven years. ;D
