Viktor decided to make an Adirondack chair from scratch this week. You know, for fun. I’m most impressed. Just in time for Fall! And snow!
I think it’s kind of cool that I’m married to a guy who knows how to make an Adirondack chair. It’s a talent I do not possess.

Anyway, here’s a little weekend wrap-up for you.
-How to do your own glitter toes from No Biggie
–Ivory Hut lost her house in a fire. Oh my. What can we do to help?
-Yesterday was happy 09/02/10 day. Did you celebrate at The Peach Pit?
-The 10 Most Extravagant Hotels in the World. I won’t be tempted.
-Do you need some hand made baby moccasins in your life? Susan can help.
-Have you seen this video from the Sparklecorn party in N.Y.C.? It makes me want to dance. Oh wait, I already did.

That’s it for now. I have both a pool day and a Fall football game on my schedule for this weekend. What are you doing?
Loooove the chair! What color are you going to paint/stain it?
We will be at the BYU football game and a Brian Stokes Mitchell concert at BYU. So thanks to them for providing our Labor Day weekend entertainment!
I have no idea. I want to paint it turquoise but I have a feeling Viktor will want to do something more manly and rustic. Brown probably.
Yes, BYU game! Totally excited, it’s been a while.
Actually we’re done. I sprayed a few coats of clear lacquer and we’re done. Next one will be rubbed with an oil I think; the kind that soaks white pants.
turquoise. I like that Idea.
soo BlogHer, this video totally makes me want to pack my things…
does it make a difference that I Can’t/sux at blogging?
Turquoise, or RED! Red would be best.
Isn’t that video fun, makes me want to go back. You absolutely SHOULD come!
Boy oh boy you are Jonny on the Spot with the reply..
that is one of the many reasons I like you blog so well…
:)
Love that chair! I’m impressed your husband did it, and from scratch even. The 2 we have on our porch I put together from a kit. Does that count? ha Have a fun weekend.
Of COURSE a kit counts! I think just owning one counts for being amazing, but putting one together makes for a very special person.
Wow, Michal, I’m impressed! That kind of handy would never happen around here. Very cool!
ps. Awww, thank you for the link. <3
Well, your house is so tidy I could eat off your kitchen floor. To each her own, I guess.
:)
Of course I’d link to you! I’m dying to try glitter toes myself!
That is awesome. I love it. I’ll take 2!!
I agree, I’m pretty stoked about it.
