…to be thinking about holiday decorating? I know of those who put their Christmas lights up before Thanksgiving, even their Christmas tree. Me, well, I aim to have the shopping done by T-day, and the cards ready by December 1st. Key word being “try.”
If you craft your way through the holiday season, you know it’s not too soon to get started. I discovered these ornaments while searching for instructions to replicate a homemade ornament from my childhood. Aren’t they pretty? And they seem easy enough to involve older chidlren. A sweet gift for a neighbor or friend, don’t you think? A monogram is always a classy choice.

Those ornaments are very pretty! Normally in my family Christmas does not go up until the day after Thanksgiving. BUT I'm getting married December 5th so Christmas is going up early!
I made these last year! Thank you for reminding me to dig them up!!
I posted about it last year if you want to see http://inevergrewup.net/saturday-shop-handmade-christmas-8/
No, I do not think it is too early. Though I will not get everything done by December 1st this year, I try to because then I can really enjoy the holidays. Remember us Virgos are organized. We can't help it. We will be spending Christmas this year by you guys skiing, so that is why everything is not getting done. I need to get on it though today and find ski pants. Ugh!
