I styled a commercial last week that involved a first day of work for the principle {main actor} with a fabulous secretary. I had to make her a sexy Mad Men secretary. I couldn’t help myself.
The guys are usually standard, boring, suit and tie. The suit I chose for the main actor was fabulous, a charcoal grey suit with a yellow striped tie from J. Crew. It looked fantastic.
But the secretary? She looked ridiculous.
By which I mean completely off the charts amazing.
A Mad Men sweater from Banana Republic, a tie front mustard yellow shirt, black pencil skirt, and black heels.
I just can’t believe how amazing that simple combination looks every. single. time.
