I have officially found love in the form of a handbag. Specifically, the Gillian tote from HOBO International. It’s the perfect combination of a purse & a diaper bag for any chic mom. It’s roomy, but not so roomy you can’t find your keys. There are several pockets on the inside of the bag {cell phone, pens, zippered pocket for miscellaneous} and the outside boasts two large pockets on either end roomy enough to hold a toddler size diaper. It even has magnetic snaps on either side of the bag that automatically snap shut for you. No zippers, no buttons, just function. I only wish I had carried around something this stylish when P was born. Instead I had a very functional lovely forest green with navy trim diaper bag. It was completely functional and even had my last name embroidered on the outside. The only problem with said diaper bag {aside from its aesthetic drawbacks} was that I found myself going back & forth between diaper bag & purse on a daily basis. I didn’t have a bag that was all-purpose in it’s functionality. And there were more than a few occasions when I wanted to leave the house without my name-emblazoned forest green diaper bag but still have the diapering essentials with me. I missed the boat, but you don’t have to. This. Is. It. The perfect combo bag.
