growth chart.

Growth Chart.
{Box measures 7.25″ x 7.25″ x 2.75″}.
$40.

I think Miss Natalie is onto something here. These growth charts {from her Etsy shop Miss Natalie} are the perfect solution for the transition years between apartment living and permanent home dwelling. I used the not-so-original idea of measuring P’s growth on a two-by-four before we moved to our home. Not cute. It served it’s purpose, but without any aesthetic appeal. I wish I’d had one of these.

Packaged in an heirloom wooden box, the chart contains a 4′ long jute ribbon, mounted on wooden dowels and hung with a red ribbon. With one simple nail, you can hang your chart 1′ (or more) above the floor to start your measurements. Twenty tags are included (ten in red, ten in manila) with space to mark your child’s name, age, and date of measurement. Also included are twenty large safety pins in a muslin bag to secure your child’s tag on the burlap ribbon. A dollop of glue at the pin head ensures a steadfast bond. When your child is fully grown, simply fold the ribbon back up and place in the wooden box for safe-keeping, a precious memento of childhood years. Miss Natalie’s Growth Chart is a unique gift for a young child’s birthday or baby shower.
