frugal-fashionista.

I’ve been lurking around this blog for a while now. I actually get some really good ideas about current fashion trends from watching celebrities {of course I always tone it down about ten notches, price & bling wise both}. Frugal-Fashionista features regular updates of inexpensive alternatives to celebrity couture. It’s a fun bookmark; lust away. {Images via Frugal-Fashionista}.

cute tween clothing for your daughter.

As a mother of an official “tween” I find it very hard to find clothing for my 8-year-old P. I feel like my options are either Gymboree {which I love, but has officially been declared too “babyish”} or clothing along the lines of Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen. I’m not too thrilled with dressing P like a miniature teenager and have been desperately trying to find a happy medium. You’d think with all the “tweens” running around there would be…

contemporary kitchen dishes.

I love all the collections from Rosanna. Simple or fun, beachy or contemporary, there’s something for everyone. The multicolored stackable bowls have me thinking of eating ice cream outside on a summer night. And P would go crazy for the tea set plates {which come gift packaged in a little suitcase!}. Rosanna Bowls. {$40 for six}. Four Plates $40. Red Dots. {9″ Pedastal} $30.

baby swaddling blanket.

Lynette Damir, {a mother and RN} created these amazing swaddling blankets with built in instructions after finding out her friends and family needed a little guidance in the swaddling department. I remember very well after P was born, having the nurses in the hospital show me over and over again how to bundle P up just right until she resembled a little baby burrito. These blankets are just the right dimensions to help you do the job perfectly once you’re…

radius.

I am officially in love with Radius toothbrushes. They are so soft on your teeth & easy to hold {not just for kids, they’re great for those of us who have swollen hands in the morning as well}. Not only that, the handles are made from a 100% renewable resource {Nebraska maize}, the heads are replaceable {less waste} and they are available for lefties as well as the right handed majority. So cool. They’re completely reasonably priced as well, {the…
