kids animal magazine.

Do your kids love magazines?  Mine do.  In fact, little Miss Precocious has had a regular subscription to her favorite magazine since her 4th birthday.  My mom gave her a subscription to Your Big Backyard, a magazine by the National Wildlife Federation, and we’ve re-subscribed every year since.

It’s a phenomenal magazine.

As Precocious has gotten older she’s graduated right along with the magazine to the next level, Ranger Rick.  Funny jokes, information about animals, the environment, quizzes, random crafts;  it’s her favorite.

She squeals when it comes in the mail, just like I do when In Style shows up once a month.

Seriously, there’s one for every age.

This kids animal magazine would make a perfect gift for whatever kid you have on your Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, or Chrismukkah list.

This magazine subscription was paid for by yours truly and is not an advertisement in any way, shape, or form.  Swearsies.

I’m in LOVE with this magazine. It’s great for kids. In fact, thanks for the reminder to renew!!!

    • Allison :

I just put my renewal in the mail yesterday!

  2. Anne :

They still have Ranger Rick?!? My daughter’s been looking at my husband’s old copies from his childhood!

    • Allison :

They do, and it’s the best. Seriously, we love it!

  3. Shari (aka: fruitloopgirl) :

My Mom-in-law bought a Zoobook subscription for my daughter and she LOVES it! She reads every one from cover to cover.

    • Allison :

We read it cover to cover, FAST, pass it down to the next kid, and then take it to the library to donate it to their magazine recycle program.

It gets a lot of love around here.

      • Shari (aka: fruitloopgirl) :

Vicki is sharing her Zoobooks with her class at school. All the kids love them!

      • Allison :

        Oh Shari, that’s awesome.

  4. Libby Schleichert :

    Hi Shari,
Thanks so much for the terrific Ranger RIck shout-out! We love bloggers who give us a mention, and you have surely done that, and then some!

Appreciate the other reader comments, too. We on staff of this magazine work hard to turn out a good product and it is wonderful when people out there recognize our efforts.

So a million heartfelt thanks from us here in the ditches!

It’s actually Allison, not Shari. But you’re completely welcome. We’re huge huge fans at our house, and I appreciate the wonderful kids magazine.

  5. Stacia Simonsen :

Magazine subscriptions are such a great gift – you know the kind that keeps giving and giving and giving. I love that you circulate it around your school too.

    • Allison :

Stacia, it’s the best magazine ever. I think you and your little people would dig it. Right up your alley.

  6. Libby Schleichert :

Woops! Heartfelt apologies for the name confusion, Allison, and thanks once more for your support. It means a great deal!

    Cheers,

      Libby, no worries! At all.

Happy to help spread the Ranger Rick love around!
